A girl needs her privacy for some things and I’m not getting it anymore. It all started last week when Stretch and I dug a tunnel under the fence so we could explore the neighborhood. Heck, we’ve been here four months and we’ve only seen it from the inside of a car. Well, Mommy heard a car honking in the front and when she looked out to investigate she saw us in the street. Boy did we get in trouble for that one and Daddy put a big board in front of the gate to try to block my freedom. A couple of days later I got a tunnel dug under the wood and fence and went out exploring again. Daddy was at the back door calling Stretch and me to come in but I was already out in front and there was no way I could get back in without him seeing me. When Daddy went to the front to look for me I tried sneaking back under the fence but Mommy saw me when my head poked up out of the hole. You got it, trouble again. Now whenever they let Stretch and me outside one of them is out there with us. You know it’s hard for a girl to tend to business with an audience.

Mommy or Daddy are going into the back yard with us whenever we go outside. The only thing is they won’t run around the yard with us bark at the neighbor kids. They just sit in a chair and watch us. I think as long as they’re going to be outside they should make it beneficial and at least chase a bird or squirrel once in a while but noooooooooo, they just sit and watch. I guess we’re more interesting than TV.
