Stretch: I don't know what a doppelganger is but Daddy said I've got one. I hope it's not serious or contagious. I don't want anyone else getting doppelganger too.
Ellie: Doppelganger is someone who looks exactly like you.
Stretch: How can someone look exactly like me. I'm unique, one of a kind.
Ellie: You're unique alright. It's scary thinking there are two of you running around out there.
Stretch: That's right. Mommy and Daddy tell me I'm special and there's no other puppy like me around.
Ellie: Yeah, but now there's another one who looks just like you. Let's just hope she doesn't act like you and the world is safe.
Stretch: But Ellie, you say that like it's a BAD thing another puppy could look like me. Mommy tells me all the time I've got a pretty face and Daddy tells me I'm his little Stretch Puppy. You don't think they'll see that doppelganger and think it's me do you? I did see Garfield: A Talie of Two Kitties
and that was scary.
Ellie: No Stretch, you're one of a kind and there's NO WAY anyone could mistake another puppy for you.
